Kat, the name of an adopted exotic shorthair of our founder Tracy.
Her works are mostly around Kat, it's her pleasure to share Kat's stories with friends.
"Kat" has a meaning of "luck", "Katland" is a fairyland for Kat, a place full of joyful animals, whose are all Kat's friends. :)
Katland is for everyone who love animals. We hope Katland bring you happiness with a combination of humour and adorable animals.
Our products are not only around Kat, and also different types of animals, such as Hong Kong Cats (Lion-Dancing cat). At the same time, we wish to provide a wide range of products to fulfil customer needs. Some of our products can be custom made, thereby you can travel around the world with your favourite animals!

Our cultural and creative brands have been selected in the "Mocity My Favorite Pet Brand Award 2023" and
We have won awards in the "Mocity My Favorite Pet Brand Award 2022", an annual event in the pet industry. These awards are selected through online public voting. After the online public one-person-one-vote voting, we successfully stood out and became the winning brand.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone, the conference, and the companies and organizations that we work with. We started our brand from scratch, initially making some handmade wooden products, and created them one by one in the form of hand painting. We also launched a series of hand-painted postcards for sale. Later, when we adopted Xiaoji, we started to create a series of paintings with him as the theme.
In 2019, Xiaoji walked to the Rainbow Bridge, which gave me the idea of customizing pet paintings for everyone again. I started to redraw various pet paintings of different species, hoping that everyone can travel around with their favorite pet-themed accessories or supplies. Thank you very much for your support and affirmation, which proves that our efforts are rewarding.
Our small cultural and creative brand has been growing, and we are very happy to be able to stand on stage to receive the award together with other big companies and well-known brands. FounderTracy TAM
Tracy is the founder of Katland Studio and won the runner-up and champion of two product design competitions in 2008 and 2012 respectively. Her works have been exhibited and praised in Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, Taipei and Macau, and she has been interviewed by different media many times, showing her creativity and design ability.
In addition, Tracy has worked as an interior designer and product designer in a design company. During her school years, she graduated from the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) with the highest grade in her class in the Higher Diploma in Product Design and obtained Distinction in the Professional Diploma in Interior Design, demonstrating her outstanding design ability.
Tracy has loved painting since she was a child. She has a passion for small animals. Since she couldn't keep pets when she was a child, she turned her love into painting. During her primary and secondary school years, she participated in art competitions many times and won good results. She also obtained an A grade in the Visual Arts subject in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination.

The beginning of custom products
Xiaoji is a cat that I adopted. He made me experience the pain of losing a pet. In fact, before Xiaoji left, I didn't like to accept custom works. But after Xiaoji left, I started to draw orders for pets again. Especially for those pets who have left, I can understand your feelings. After Xiaoji left, I was sad for a long time.
However, when I started to switch to a new creative mode, I saw everyone's happy faces after receiving their works.
Some guests even drew pet pictures for us to express their gratitude. I felt very happy and felt like I had really helped others.
